＜Important Announcement＞

We praise God for the opportunities He has given us to bless and share the Gospel with over 70,000 children during these 7 years! We regret to announce that it has been decided that OCC Japan will no longer be sending shoeboxes from this year.

Though it is very sad, we thank God for all that He has done through your giving. Our shoeboxes from Japan brought joy and salvation messages to these precious children and their families, and strengthened local churches. and they brought so much joy to us!!! It has been 8 full years since we established our office in Japan, and God led us to partner with you all for disaster relief and world mission.

Last year, over 10 million shoeboxes were distributed over 100 countries. Please visit SPECIAL REPORT below to celebrate with us! If you wish to continue giving to OCC, please do so through our Headquarter website(https://www.samaritanspurse.org). Furthermore, a portion of donations that you have sent us last season was used for international transportation and other administrative expenses, and all the balance will be transferred to OCC headquarter for the 2019 shoebox project.

We have sent Thank You letter to all the churches and individuals that have participated in the past, and please let us know if you have not received them. Please feel free to contact info@samaritanspursejapan.org if you have any concerns or questions.

親愛なる支援者のみなさま　​

ご支援ありがとうございました！

皆さんの子ども達に対する愛と熱い宣教への思いが積み重ねられ、2018年も11,143箱の尊い贈り物がフィリピンに届けられました。今年も全体で10,623,776箱が集められ、100ヶ国以上にシューボックスが届けられています。

​

何も持たない子ども達に届けられるそのシューボックスは、どれだけの歓喜と幸福感をもたらすでしょうか。多くの子ども達と家族がシューボックスを通してイエス様に出会い、 地域教会ファミリーの一員とされ、今までとは違う人生を歩み始めています。 

​

東日本大震災の緊急援助団体として設立された一般社団法人サマリタンズパースですが、2012年からオペレーションクリスマスチャイルドも始まりました。

この7年間で、実に7万箱以上のシューボックスが、ここ日本からフィリピンの貧困区に住む子ども達へ届けられました。ものすごい数です。皆さんの寛大なパートナーシップにより、これだけ多くの子ども達に贈り物と福音を届けることができたことを心より感謝しています。

さて、今回のニュースレターでは、皆さんに重大なお知らせがあります。

大変遺憾ですが、オペレーションクリスマスチャイルドは、諸般の事情により、日本から撤退することが決定致しました。

尚、サマリタンズパース日本事務所は閉鎖せず、必要に応じて国内外の活動を継続してまいります。

皆様が送って下さいましたオペレーションクリスマスチャイルドのための寄付金は、コン テナ輸送費や運営費に用いられていますが、残りの寄付金はすべてアメリカ本部に送金され、オペレーションクリスマスチャイルドの働きのために用いさせていただきます。 今まで送られた箱が子ども達にとっての特別な記憶となり、シューボックスを通して救わ れた人々と天で共に喜びを分かち合える日を楽しみにしています。今までの皆様とのパートナーシップには、感謝しても感謝しつくせません。神様が皆様を今後とも祝福を蒔くものとして豊かに用いてくださいますように。

★2月10日に行われた運営委員会議事録を後ろに掲示してありますのでご確認ください。 Please check the Minutes of the Leader’s meeting held on February 10. They are posted on the bulletin board at the back.

★タイの宣教チームのためにお祈りください。3月24日から31日までタイの孤児院で奉仕します。

A team from church are going on a missions trip to two orphanages in Thailand from March 24th to 31st. Please pray for the preparations and their time there.

★3月26日から28日まで、AOG九州教区のスプリングキャンプが阿蘇青少年自然の家で行われます。対象はユースとキッズです。

興味のある方は孝子さんに詳細をお尋ねく ださい。

AOG Kyushu District spring camp will be held from March 26-28. This camp is for youth and kids and will be held at the campsite in Aso. If you are interested, please ask Takako san for details.
